With over 30 years’ marketing experience, predominantly in FTSE 100 Financial Services organisations alongside businesses ranging from start-ups to Government quangos and spanning the full funnel of marketing, the team have had the privilege of leading teams and initiatives for some remarkable brands, working alongside talented colleagues - many of whom have become lifelong friends.

This passion for problem-solving was the inspiration behind Barley - a marketing consultancy dedicated to helping businesses grow, adapt, and overcome obstacles.

Our founder is Lesley Heath, a CIM qualified Marketing professional who has spent the last  15 years in senior B2B marketing leadership roles.

​

Her expertise lies mainly in Financial Services, a sector that has allowed her to master a wide range of marketing disciplines - from strategy to customer retention.

​

A key strength is Lesley’s ability to build marketing strategies, teams, and technology from the ground up, especially during times of organisational change. She has led many successful initiatives resulting in tangible returns.

Lesley has called Norfolk home for over 25 years, sharing a converted farmhouse with her partner John and Barley their Welsh Springer, as they settle into empty nester era! Professionally, she has been London-based for much of her career, leading teams across the UK from Bristol to York.
